
CULLEN MCDONALD
P. Cullen McDonald brings, along with his strong academic credentials, an athlete’s competitive spirit to The Ferguson Law Firm. Cullen attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana where he earned Dean’s List recognition. Cullen was also an NCAA Division 1 pitcher for the NSU Demons’ baseball team. Besides excellence on the diamond, Cullen earned recognition for being listed on Southland Conference Honor Roll.
Upon graduation, Mr. McDonald then attended Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University where he earned his J.D., Magna cum laude, in 2022. He was the Senior Editor for Louisiana Law Review (Vol. 82) and a member of the LSU Law Board of Advocates. He received a Paul M. Hebert Scholar Award, Dean’s Scholarship Award, and CLI Excellence for the Future Award for both Estate Planning and Taxation, and Maritime Torts. He also received the Chancellor’s Council Tullis Moot Court Award.
While at LSU, Cullen served as a legal intern for United States District Judge Shelly D. Dick. He was also the published author of McDonald, P.C.; The Qui Tam Question: Proper Pleading Requirements for Relaters Under the FCA, 82 La. L. Rev. 359 (2021). He joined the Ferguson Law Firm in September 2022.
