ALBERT LYU

When Albert Lyu takes on a case, he brings something most attorneys don't: he’s seen how powerful institutions operate from the inside.

Before law school, Albert spent years in the corporate world, first at Jones Lang LaSalle, one of the world’s largest commercial real estate firms, and later founding his own cross-border investment advisory company. He negotiated complex deals, managed high-stakes transactions, and learned how corporations think. Today, he uses that knowledge against them on behalf of injured workers, crash survivors, and their families.

At The Ferguson Law Firm, Albert represents people facing some of the hardest moments of their lives. Albert approaches each case the way he once approached business deals: methodically, analytically, and with an eye on the endgame. That means building cases that are ready for trial, not just settlement.

Albert earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law, where he developed a deep interest in constitutional law, legal philosophy, and how courts determine accountability. To him, plaintiff’s work isn’t just litigation; it’s about holding powerful defendants to the same rules everyone else has to follow..

Albert is licensed in both Kansas and Texas. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, which means he can work directly with clients who might otherwise struggle to navigate the legal system in a language that isn’t their own.

Outside the office, you’ll find Albert in the gym, on a long road trip through Texas, or searching out the next great local spot.
