Victoria LaFleur

Victoria LaFleur is a proud Golden Triangle native, as she was born and raised in Port Neches, Texas. Victoria has worked in the legal field for over ten years, starting out as a file clerk for a local law firm and is now returning to Southeast Texas to practice as a licensed Texas attorney. Prior to joining the Ferguson Law Firm, Victoria served as in-house corporate counsel for commercial entities, where she supported internal business operations and provided legal guidance on governance, employment, business, regulatory, and litigation matters. Throughout her career, Victoria has maintained a passion for advocacy and a creative approach to problem solving which she uses to efficiently and effectively resolve matters and represent for her clients.

 

Victoria attended and graduated summa cum laude from Port Neches-Groves High School in 2015. Victoria then attended Lamar University after receiving the Mirabeau Presidential Scholarship, a full tuition academic scholarship, and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance in 2019. While attending Lamar University, Victoria had the opportunity to spend a semester abroad in France to study international business at the Rennes School of Business. Victoria then attended Texas A&M University School of Law (TAMU Law) where she received her Juris Doctorate and certification in Environmental and Energy Law and Policy in 2022. While attending TAMU Law, Victoria served as a teaching assistant for the Legal Analysis, Research and Writing course, a member of the mock trial competition team, and a student ambassador for the Office of Admissions. Victoria was also a recipient of the Anne S. and Henry B. Paup Endowed Dean’s Scholarship and the Joe Rudd Scholarship and Foundation Scholarship from The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law.

Outside of work, Victoria can be found playing fetch with her pup Jet or keeping up with her nephews and niece around Mid-County. Victoria also enjoys any activity that gets her outside and socializing with others, which includes running, hiking, swimming, weightlifting, and country swing dancing. Victoria also enjoys live music and sporting events, including cheering on the Texas Aggies at Kyle Field.
