MICHELLE FERGUSON
Ownership Partner at the Ferguson Law Firm, LLP
Michelle Ferguson brings a diverse background to her work at the Ferguson Law Firm. From her beginnings as a sole practitioner, Michelle has represented clients in all courts throughout Southeast Texas. This includes not only her successful trial practice but her work on behalf of disadvantaged children and indigent clients, working to provide those less fortunate access to the civil justice system. Michelle has also had careers as a registered nurse, a professor at Lamar State College-Orange’s nursing school, and as a small business owner. These experiences provide her with a special insight to the needs of those taken advantage of by corporate negligence and wrongdoing. She joined The Ferguson Law Firm as a partner in 2015.
She is married to Chip Ferguson, the firm’s managing partner, and, between them, they have eight children, eleven grandchildren and more on the way. Ms. Ferguson has supported several community service groups including Girl’s Haven, Save Our Children and The Shorkey Center.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, her four dogs and relaxing at the family’s beach home in Crystal Beach.
