ATTORNEY TIM FERGUSON – WHY CALL A LAWYER

Ferguson Law Firm Attorney Tim Ferguson explains why you should call a lawyer.

A lot of people don’t understand that the insurance company is not end all be all. In that, the fact that the insurance company evaluates your case at X doesn’t mean that’s the worth of your case, which is again, why your lawyer, why you should hire a lawyer, is because that evaluation isn’t set in stone.

In fact, nine times out of 10, if not 10 times out of 10, the insurance company values your case much lower than what it’s worth, because they keep the money tight to them. They don’t want to, you know, provide fair and reasonable compensation.

But, I understand that a lot of people can be hesitant to call a lawyer right away, because a lot of people believe that: “let me just file with my insurance and let them take care of it because I paid premiums. And that’s, that’s kind of why it’s there.” I understand that.

But nine times out of 10, if not 10 times out of 10, you’re not going to get the correct evaluation, even from your own insurance company, despite, you know, all the slogans they have and the, you know, “Oh, we care so much about you.” I’m telling you nine times or 10 times out of 10, that evaluation is grossly undervalued which is why you should call a lawyer.
