The Ferguson Law Firm wins another record-breaking jury verdict for a victim of medical malpractice.

After two full weeks of trial and testimony from over 23 witnesses, most of which were experts, a Texas jury found our client suffered from medical malpractice due to a delay in diagnosis and treatment of his spinal cord condition.

The hospital denied any responsibility at trial, but a jury disagreed, finding that the hospital 90% at fault.  A jury awarded our client approximately $59.7 million in actual damages, including $9.7 million in future medical expenses, $4.9 million in loss of earning capacity, $16 million for pain and suffering, $16.8 million for mental anguish, and $12.5 million for physical impairment.

Cody A. Dishon, a partner at the Ferguson Law Firm and lead counsel, secured the groundbreaking recovery for his client.   Javier Cabanillas of the Ferguson Law Firm served as second chair for the trial.
