Tim represents individuals and families in cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death—matters that require not only legal skill, but judgment, care, and a deep respect for what is at stake. He has secured more than $100,000,000 on behalf of clients who have suffered life-altering injuries or loss of life in motor vehicle collisions, products liability, drowning incidents, industrial accidents, premises liability, and electrocutions.
Mass Action / Education Law
Tim represented over 700 students in lawsuits against two former for-profit schools alleging breach of contract, misrepresentations, and fraud. These students are from Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Colorado, California, and Florida. The parties reached confidential settlements in 2022 and 2025.
Deep Roots in Southeast Texas
Tim is a Beaumont native, who cares deeply about the Southeast Texas community. He attended and graduated from West Brook High School, then attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) on a baseball scholarship. Following his junior year, the Kansas City Royals selected Tim in the tenth round of the Major League Baseball draft. After several years in the Royals’ system, Tim shifted immediately to his legal career and attended the University of Houston Law Center (UHLC).
Tim returned to his hometown of Beaumont to practice law. He was sworn in as a new attorney on November 2, 2017, by his grandfather, the Hon. Paul F. Ferguson, Sr., a retired state district judge.

HOBBIES
Tim spends most of his free time with his wife, Brittney Ferguson, and three children. Brittney and Tim met while attending the University of Mississippi. Brittney graduated with a degree from Ole Miss in Business Marketing and a minor in Real Estate. She owns and operates her own business. Both Brittney and Tim enjoy traveling back to their alma mater for both baseball and football games. Tim also enjoys listening to live music, working out, and watching the Texans, Rockets, and Astros.
