LARRY C. HUNTER

Attorney Larry C. Hunter graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas in 1973 with a B.A. in government. He attended law school at the University of Houston, graduating with his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1976. Mr. Hunter has been serving personal injury victims in Southeast, Texas as a dedicated and knowledgeable personal injury lawyer for over 40 years, and is an invaluable member of the team at The Ferguson Law Firm, LLP.

Skill, Commitment and Experience

Committed, experienced, and skilled, Mr. Hunter has proven his dedication to winning cases for clients time and again. He has received numerous honors over the course of his career, including appointment as a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and a Paul Harris Fellow of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

He had his own practice for over 30 years, with two of his former law partners now sitting as State District Judges in Orange County, Texas. He practiced with a nationally recognized plaintiffs firm from 2011 until joining the team at The Ferguson Law Firm, LLP in 2015.

In addition to product liability and personal injury practice, Mr. Hunter has an extensive background of experience in family law, probate, real estate, business litigation, and criminal law.

Mr. Hunter has litigated cases in Texas, Indiana, Georgia, and Mississippi, and is one of a handful of attorneys in Southeast Texas who has appeared before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Hunter has been married to his wife, Becky, a registered nurse and retired nursing instructor, for over 43 years, and they have two children, Melissa, a neo-natal nurse practitioner, and Grant, a corporate executive chef, and four grandchildren.
